How do I cancel my Membership Package?ESalesGuru Professionals can cancel their membership at anytime. Upon cancellation, the recurring billing for the yearly or monthly membership will stop immediately. ESalesGuru cannot control whether or not Employers will accept Professional bids. Our Team is certainly available to assist in developing effective profiles for Professionals, but cannot guarantee how many projects will be awarded. |
ESalesGuru can not guarantee the amount of money Professionals will make through the outsourcing marketplace. |

| |

Do you have any bidding tips to pass along? In order to increase your chances of being awarded many projects through the ESalesGuru Marketplace, it is essentially to learn the art of submitting effective bids/proposals. Here are a few tips to consider as you build your proposal/bids. |
Build an excellent Professional Profile Before you begin bidding on projects, it is essential to create and fine-tune your respective Professional Profile(s). You want to effectively communicate your best skills, qualifications and experience as well as a concise overview of your specific service offerings. You might provide a resume, verified references as well as a portfolio demonstrating your experience and quality of work. If you have a business website, we recommend linking it to your ESalesGuru profile.
It is vital to show prospective employers that you are a skilled, high-quality Internet Marketing Professional. If you need assistance with building your profile, please don't hesitate to contact our Help Desk. |
Develop Bids/Proposals that are Targeted, Concise, and Professional It is essential to answer the all-important question, how do my skill sets and services specifically fulfill the Employers project expectations? You want to provide specifics as to how you will effectively complete the given project. Avoid "template" or general proposals that don't clearly address the specific project expectations. It is important to create a concise proposal that provides just enough information to clearly show you understand the project and are able to fulfill the requirements.
Finally, it is important to present your bid/proposal in a professional format that will add credibility to the services you will be providing. For example, if your copywriting proposal is filled with spelling errors, this might cause some concerns for the prospective Employer. Making a good first impression through your proposal and profile is foundational to building a trusted long-term business relationship. |
Provide Relevant Work Experience It is important to provide information on how you have successfully completed similar types of projects for clients in the past. For example, if you are an SEO specialist, then you might want to cite how you increased a clients Google PR ranking and listings to a respective level. If an Employer can clearly see a relevant link from your experience to the given project, this will increase your chances of being awarded the bid. |
Attach Files to Further Enhance the Bid/Proposal. You might want to attach further documents that specifically demonstrate your skills and experience. There is great value in Employers being able to "see" your work in addition to just reading about your experience. This might not apply to all of our skills categories, but pertinent attachments can certainly bolster your project proposal. |
Include Bid Quotes (pricing) that Accurately Reflect the Particular Skill Category. Given the diversity of the different skill categories in the ESalesGuru marketplace, it is essential to understand the different bidding/pricing formats for each. Here are some bidding format recommendations to consider:
Affiliate Marketing Management & Consulting Affiliate Marketing Manager and Consultants typically work on a hybrid model (Flat rate + commission). Employers will provide an hourly, daily or monthly rate and a percentage on the sales profits generated by the Professional. Other arrangements might be made, but this tends to me the norm for this skill category.
Search Engine Marketing & Optimization Projects The pricing structure for Pay Per Click Specialists can include a campaign set-up fee plus a monthly rate. Other contractors might work purely on a percentage of the Employers click cost budget, if the average monthly ad spend is above a certain limit.
Search Engine Optimization Specialists typically work on either a flat rate per project or on a monthly basis depending on the employers needs. Other SEO contractors might require a set-up fee as well.
Landing Page / Website Design Projects Website Design Professionals typically work on a flat rate per project basis. If an e-business requires ongoing updates, then an hourly, daily or monthly rate might be a consideration.
Interactive Advertising Design Projects Interactive Graphic Designers work on a flat rate per project basis and usually have a particular fee schedule for the different types of ad units.
Copywriting for ebusinesses Web Copywriters typically work on a flat rate per project basis. If they are writing a regular newsletter, then an hourly, daily or monthly rate might be considered.
Online Lead Generation Projects Online Lead Generation Professionals tend to operate on a Cost Per Lead basis, so employers will only pay for each quality lead received. Some Lead Generation services might require set-up fees as well.
Business Blogging and Social Media Projects Blog Writers are typically remunerated on per blog post basis. In terms of blog set-up and marketing, they tend to work on an hourly or flat rate basis. Social Media Specialists typically work on a hourly or flat-rate basis for their consulting services.
Online Media Buying/Planning Projects The pricing structure for Online Media Planners/Buyers can vary quite a bit. Some planners/buyers work on a hybrid model where they receive a monthly rate plus commission. Other Media Planners may be hired on a flat rate basis to construct a comprehensive media plan. Media Buyers may work on a daily, hourly or monthly rate basis.
RSS / Email Marketing Projects Email Marketing Specialists might work on an hourly, monthly or per-project basis depending if ongoing services are required. Email Marketing Services with their own opt-in lists typically work on a CPM basis and receive a flat rate depending on the volume of emails delivered. Others will work on a CPA (Revenue Share) basis in which Employers pay based on product performance. RSS Professionals typically work on an hourly or flat rate basis.
Internet Marketing Planning, Research and Consulting Projects Internet Marketing Consultants are typically remunerated on a per project basis; however if ongoing research and planning services are required, then a monthly, daily or hour fee structure might be put in place.
Podcasting / Mobile Marketing Projects Podcasting and Mobile Marketing Specialists typically work on an hourly or flat rate basis.
Online Business Planning / Internet Start-up Consulting Online Business Consultants typically remunerated on an hourly or per project basis. |
Provide Clear Timelines for Starting and Completing the Project (where applicable) It is important to include your timeframe for commencing with the project. Also, depending on the nature of the project, it would be good to give an approximation of how long this project will take to complete. For some categories, like Affiliate Marketing, the project might be month-to-month and on going and will not require a project completion timeline.
If you require any further assistance with building your project proposal, then please do not hesitate to contact our helpdesk. Also, we recommend checking out this Sample Bid Proposal to guide you in the development of your own proposal. |

What happens if the project ends up costing more or less than the original bid amount? If the project ends up cost more or less and both yourself and the employer have mutually agreed to a pricing change, then you can simply invoice for the revised amount through the ESalesGuru Billing System. Another option is to have the Employer cancel the first project and send an invite to you to bid on a new project with the revised pricing and budget. It is important that you upload a revised Service Agreement to your Personal Message Board with the new pricing. This will verify that both parties have agreed to the pricing change. |

An Open project status allows all Professionals, both Premium, Elite and Elite Plus members, to bid on a given project. A Closed project status restricts the bidding to just Elite and Elite Plus Professionals.
Employer preference varies between Open and Closed (Elite and Elite Plus Only) bids. Some Employers prefer to open their projects to all ESalesGuru Professionals in order to receive the most competitively priced bids from a larger pool of contractors.
